CABINET DOORS
Over the past 10 years, I have adapted many of the techniques used for my wall sculpture to panels that can be used to customize your cabinets. The panels I create for you make your cabinets unique. Typically an insert can cost from $200 to $500 depending on size and complexity.
CUSTOM ARTWORK FOR YOUR HOME
There are many styles of cabinet doors. Some have raised panels, recessed panels, or flush doors. All of these door types can be prepared for cabinet door inserts by a cabinet maker. If you have an existing door that has a recessed center panel ( shaker style door), some designs in copper can be directly mounted to the front of the door.
Many new cabinet doors can be ordered "glass ready." This provides a frame with a beveled recess on the inside of the door into which a panel can be mounted. Linda works with a cabinet maker in Columbus, Ohio to ensure a perfect fit and to finish the back of the panel to your specifications. She can also work with your kitchen contractor or cabinet maker for final installation. Some homeowners are handy enough to install their own door inserts. Often, your contractor will cut a veneered sheet to fit into the open frame of your cabinet. Send this portion to me, and I mount the insert to the unfinished wood side. When you receive the mounted insert, simply pop the insert in the door and add simple hardware brackets that I can provide.
YOUR SPECIFICATIONS
By answering the questions on the specification sheet, Linda can assess the individual specifications of each job accurately and estimate project costs (a separate window will open for forms.)
